Office 365 Migration Services
A successful migration to Office 365 is a multi-phased project that requires expertise in project management and planning, architecture, technical know how, and the ability to execute. Timlin has migrated thousands of users to Office 365 using our methodology. Our migration team will ensure we design, plan, and execute the migration based on our analysis of your current on premise solution, combined with our expertise with Office 365. We have vast experience with automated tools such as Metalogix and Sharegate to help automate and streamline the process.
Discovery and Design
Once the Timlin team has a solid inventory of the environment and has developed a remediation plan, our architects will develop a technical plan and approach to the migration. Here we will finalize the approach to the migration, determine what if any 3rd party migration tools are required to faciliate the migration. All of this work is done using our agile and open methodology, managed by one of our experienced project managers.
Remediate and Prepare for Migration
Once we have completed the remediation and preparation phase, Timlin will start the process of actually migrating the content and farm components to Office 365. The specific approach and whether 3rd party tools from Metalogix or Sharegate are used is largely dependent on the size and complexity of the farm, and the goal of the migration. For example, if a new information architecture is being implemented in conjunction to the Office 365 migration, a 3rd party tool would be required. Timlin can perform the actual migration for you, or setup the process, train your team, and provide support while the internal IT resource migrates the actual content.
Rollout, Training and Support
Timlin will develop a detailed migration plan, that defines all steps for the test and production migrations. We work closely with our customer on these plans and are available for doing migration work in off hours to ensure minimal disruption to your user community. In addition, we always include time for training your Administrators, Super Users and can provide user training tools such as short videos to assist in your migration and user adoption. Support time is always included and our Managed Services solution has been well received by our customers for ongoing support.
